DUTIES:

• Plans Radon Mitigation Installations by studying design plans/notes, layouts, and technical specifications; ordering and gathering equipment, supplies, materials, and tools; coordinating schedule with customer.

• Establishes Radon Mitigation system by assessing installation site; installing mitigation hardware; running pvc venting; basic wiring of equipment; adhering to codes, regulations, and standards.

• Verifies system functioning by testing equipment and connections; identifying and correcting problems.

• Maintains records by documenting installation.

• Maintains and improves service by completing preventive maintenance requirements; verifying problems with users; diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing problems; replacing and upgrading components; installing system updates; testing back-up; referring to schematics, manuals, and manufacturers' instructions; updating equipment records.

• Maintains customer rapport by listening to and resolving concerns; answering questions.

• Maintains safe work environment by following safe practices.

• Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.

• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunies; reading technical publications. Will work towards obtaining certification paid for by our company.

• Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
